I over reacted when I got the letter in the mail. I did not write anything that I know to be false and present it as true. Ever

Come clean and apologize for what? I don't understand what I did wrong here. I am willing to take a lie detector test if someone wants to set it up and pay for it.



I have no reason for this dispute other then the fact that I received a defective machine. Just think about it.

Why did John ship the machine back to me when he knows I had insurance on it? The damage in his unboxing video was very minimal. He knew the machine was used. He knew the machine would need to be refurbished because I told him that in the email. He still told me to send it back. Then when he received it back he rejected the package. John emailed me the pictures that he took after he unboxed it and when i got home from working I got the email and then I called to see what was going on and he said it was already back on the truck. He said there was $900 worth of damage but that included the $600 that he told me for the new handle assembly would cost. He was still trying to get the handle replaced. I had insurance on it. If the packaging was so bad that it put me at fault then why didn't john have UPS inspect the package to back up his claim?

John told me that he shipped the machine back to Idaho so I could make a damage claim. He had every right to make the claim also since he is the manufacturer he is the only one who can fix it. What good is it if he sends it back to Idaho?

He contradicts himself by saying that I should have made a damage claim with UPS when I first received the machine and reported it defective. if that is his logic then he should be the one to make the damage claim when he received the new damage when I shipped it to him.


there have been 3 packages in this dispute and John is claiming all 3 have been damage. He is the only one claim that the packages got damaged during shipping. UPS is obligated to make note if they see a damaged package. The box I put the motor assembly in was brand new. if the box was damage it is UPS policy to report that on there shipping note. I have 3 shipping confirmation on UPS letterhead and all 3 state NO DAMAGE REPORTED.

Sounds to me like he wanted you to take his "don't blame me, blame UPS" hint and leave him out of it, but you didn't, so now he's trying to make it your fault and imply buyers remorse or something more sinister on your part.

One more thing that I almost forgot was that after John was notified that this Visa charge was under dispute, I am guessing that they pulled the funds from his account. He knew that this was under dispute and he recharged my Visa card for close to $4300 creating another bank dispute. It was an unauthorized charge on my account from Carpet Care Systems. That money did get refunded. The lady at the bank working my dispute was notified by me about this unauthorized charge and she was in disbelief
saying that she has never seen anyone do this before.

These are all facts with documentation to back it up. None of this is defamatory.

At this point I think you found a reason to return a machine you had/have regrets of buying.




And I think John should have let you return it with almost no questions asked.


remind me though, why didn't you just ask for a new handle?

I did ask for a new handle by saying how much would it cost him to send me a new handle? He said 600-800 bucks is what they cost him. I'm pretty sure after that he said if there is a problem then its between him and UPS acting as if he didn't want to lay out any money. I really didn't want to take this machine apart unless I had absolutely too. I would much rather have a new machine.
